• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, timesheets, payroll, expense reporting, and general ledger management. • Execute month-end close activities, including financial statements, reconciliations, analyses, and supporting schedules. • Complete operational metrics, indirect expense analysis, and variance explanations. • Help develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives. • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS, and other federal contracting requirements. • Lead efforts to streamline and automate accounting processes while maintaining compliance and controls. • Manage external financial audits, including coordination of documentation and responses. • Support tax-related activities such as filings, payments, and preparation of year-end returns. • Oversee DCAA-related audits and ensure adherence to federal procurement standards. • Provide leadership, development, and guidance to accounting team members.
