Role Description
The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within the Beverage & Alcoholic Beverage channel, with a primary focus on further processed products. This role develops and executes channel-specific business plans and sales strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer partnerships. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex national or major accounts.
Reporting to: Associate Director, Corporate Accounts F&B
What You’ll Do
- Lead sales growth initiatives within the Alcoholic Beverage channel, partnering primarily with further processing customers
- Develop and execute strategic business plans that support revenue, margin, and long-term growth objectives
- Grow and manage national or major account revenue, guiding customers through the full sales planning process
- Build and maintain strong corporate-level relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and ongoing collaboration
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs, lead customer presentations, and deliver well-structured commercial proposals
- Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing while supporting margin goals
- Maintain detailed records of pricing, sales activity, and reporting
- Contribute to marketing plans and programs, including participation in trade shows and industry events
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Equipment, and Service teams to deliver integrated, customer-focused solutions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of successful experience in business planning and execution within the general food channel
- Experience in food safety and chemical sales
- Demonstrated success managing accounts or markets with $50M+ in revenue
- Previous national or major account responsibility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel; valid and clean driver’s license required
- Flexibility to support customer and business needs across varying schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field (Preferred)
- Equipment sales experience (Preferred)
- Located near a major hub airport to enable approximately 50% national travel (US/Canada) (Preferred)
