Job Description

• Own Eastern market strategy across ERCOT, MISO, and SPP • Lead origination and power marketing efforts for esVolta’s Eastern portfolio • Build, own, and expand key customer relationships • Lead structuring, negotiation, and execution of physical and financial offtake agreements • Guide greenfield development strategy • Support M&A efforts to align project pipeline with market strategy • Lead cross-functional financial modeling efforts • Represent the company externally at key industry engagements • Present to the Board and investment committee on key approvals

Job Requirements

10+ years of experience in the power and utilities sector
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Deep knowledge of ERCOT, MISO and SPP market dynamics
Strong existing relationships and previous lead deal experience with utilities
Proven experience structuring, negotiating, and executing BESS offtake agreements
Strong financial modeling, presentation and quantitative analysis skills
Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
People manager with a proven ability to manage direct reports
