• Responsible for all aspects of project performance and provides overall direction to all project activities and personnel. • Formulate and enforce work standards, assigns project schedules, reviews work, supervises project personnel and communicates policies and organizational goals and objectives to all project personnel. • Provide verbal and written skills required at all management levels to maintain complete project control. • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success • Ensure all projects adhere to federal regulations, VA policies and cybersecurity standards • Work with stakeholders, including VA leadership, healthcare providers, and external partners, to define project requirements and objectives. • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes. • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions. • Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. • Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement. • Identify skill gaps within the team and arrange for professional development or training. • Ensure high-quality and reliable delivery of IT services to VA facilities and users. • Respond to and resolve IT incidents and outages efficiently. • Implement processes for ongoing improvement of IT service delivery. • Contribute to the design and architecture of IT systems that enhance VA services. • Stay informed about emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions. • Oversee integration of new systems with existing VA infrastructure. • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project and service delivery success. • Provide detailed reports on project progress, financials, and outcomes to VA leadership.
