Job Description

• Develop and execute client and consultant commercial strategies with a focus on field consultant coverage • Drive retention, satisfaction, relationship deepening, and growth across institutional client segments • Build and nurture relationships with key field consultants, serving as a trusted advisor • Engage field consultants in sophisticated investment and capital markets discussions • Lead the development and execution of robust field consultant specific account plans • Oversee and respond to complex information requests from field consultants and their clients • Serve as an industry expert on consultant channel trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor offerings • Drive new processes and strategies to deepen consultant engagement and expand firm visibility

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of institutional experience with a proven track record of developing and expanding relationships with institutional investors and field consultants
  • Deep connectivity with key field consultants that influence decision making
  • Demonstrated appreciation for trends and buying behaviors in institutional client segments and consultant-driven mandates
  • Advanced knowledge of equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative investment strategies; strong grasp of capital markets, portfolio management, and asset allocation
  • Superior relationship-building skills and executive presence
  • Reputation as a consensus-driven influencer and trusted advisor
  • Ability to assess risk across relationships and strategies, driving coordinated retention efforts
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and goal-oriented; reputation for integrity and service excellence
  • FINRA Series 7, 63 and/or 6
