Job Description
• Develop and execute client and consultant commercial strategies with a focus on field consultant coverage
• Drive retention, satisfaction, relationship deepening, and growth across institutional client segments
• Build and nurture relationships with key field consultants, serving as a trusted advisor
• Engage field consultants in sophisticated investment and capital markets discussions
• Lead the development and execution of robust field consultant specific account plans
• Oversee and respond to complex information requests from field consultants and their clients
• Serve as an industry expert on consultant channel trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor offerings
• Drive new processes and strategies to deepen consultant engagement and expand firm visibility
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of institutional experience with a proven track record of developing and expanding relationships with institutional investors and field consultants
- Deep connectivity with key field consultants that influence decision making
- Demonstrated appreciation for trends and buying behaviors in institutional client segments and consultant-driven mandates
- Advanced knowledge of equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative investment strategies; strong grasp of capital markets, portfolio management, and asset allocation
- Superior relationship-building skills and executive presence
- Reputation as a consensus-driven influencer and trusted advisor
- Ability to assess risk across relationships and strategies, driving coordinated retention efforts
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and goal-oriented; reputation for integrity and service excellence
- FINRA Series 7, 63 and/or 6
