• Lead the full lifecycle of Software Asset Management (SAM), including acquisition, deployment, utilization, renewal, and retirement. • Maintain accurate software asset records in SAM tools (e.g., FlexNet Manager Suite , Azure Portal , ILMT , and others). • Analyze and reconcile license entitlements against installations to ensure compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to support contract negotiations, true-ups, and renewals. • Manage vendor relationships with major software providers (Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Oracle, etc.), ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs. • Provide regular reporting and insights on software spend, license utilization, and compliance posture. • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of software usage data. • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure SAM maturity across the enterprise. • Continuously assess and improve automation and integration between SAM tools and CMDB, procurement, and discovery systems.
