Job Description

• Support business units across the company , assisting stakeholders with a vast array of legal needs • Help develop new and improved processes and procedures to ensure that Cardlytics’ Legal and Compliance department is efficient, organized, and world-class • Promote the Legal and Compliance Department’s vision across the company, ensuring that our legal obligations are met, and the company is protected in every facet • Use your legal brain to identify solutions to complex problems – going beyond pointing out that a problem exists • Help navigate rapidly developing data privacy legislation to ensure that company’s policies and procedures remain ahead of the curve

Job Requirements

At least 3-5 years of legal experience – dealing with complex legal issues and time spent at a top law firm with expertise in privacy and cybersecurity is a plus
Sizing up a legal document and spotting the issues , whether a simple sales contract or a multi-million-dollar agreement that will change the trajectory of the company
Influencing decisions at all levels and have a demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and teams on a common solution
Understanding complex business and technical concepts and consistently demonstrate good judgment when faced with difficult trade-offs
Managing competing business needs and finding creative solutions that address concerns of all stakeholders
Privacy or advertising law – preferred
