Job Description

• Lead the team building our libraries & services that enable our product teams to succeed. • Cultivating a high performing team, delivering technical feedback and excitement for a small, autonomous team of engineers. • Take responsibility for planning, execution and success of complex projects. • Take part in technical & peer reviews, collaborative design sessions, production issue troubleshooting, business requirement gathering and other organizational processes. • Partnering with engineering leadership, product, design, and data peers to create the team’s technical roadmap and be the voice of engineering as a part of the team’s leadership. • Working closely with product teams to enhance how they own, operate (build, deploy, monitor) and troubleshoot production software systems. • Helping develop and streamline our operational and engineering support systems and workflows.

Job Requirements

Production development experience in React, Webpack, TypeScript.
Several years experience leading & growing engineering teams, preferably in a startup environment.
5 or more years of software engineering experience.
Experience building, running, and debugging scalable and reliable microservice-based applications.
Strong understanding of systems design and its impact on application architecture.
