Job Description

• Provide specific course content instruction in an online environment • Manage student learning process focused on individual needs • Collaborate with students and parents to advance learning • Ensure compliance documents for special needs students are met • Develop compliant IEPs and progress reports • Facilitate and lead special education meetings • Monitor student progress and document interventions

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Active State Special Education teaching license
Ability to clear required background check
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data
Receptive to receiving coaching on a regular basis
Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
Strong written/verbal communication skills
