Job Description

• Review and edit rough draft transcripts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to formatting standards. • Utilize AutoScript Desktop and other industry-standard software to correct errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and legal terminology. • Manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines without compromising quality. • Collaborate with transcriptionists, proofreaders, and legal professionals to ensure transcript integrity. • Interpret and apply complex legal transcription guidelines and client specifications to each document.

Job Requirements

Excellent listening skills and high proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proven experience as a Scopist, preferably within the legal transcription industry.
Familiarity with legal terminology and a strong understanding of the legal transcription process and document formats.
Proficient in using transcription software such as AutoScript Web and AutoScript Desktop, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies.
Certification from a recognized legal transcription or scoping program is highly advantageous.
