Job Description

• Support upcoming opportunities in the field of arms control and nonproliferation • Develop and implement strategies for arms control and trade compliance • Provide training and technical assistance to governments and organizations • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance international trade control initiatives

Job Requirements

Baccalaureate or higher-level degree from an accredited college or university
10+ years of experience in global trade control management and compliance
Knowledge of international strategic trade control norms, best practices, and proliferation trends
Experience drafting laws and regulations governing the control of trade and transfer of dual-use goods and technologies and conventional arms
Experience providing training and technical consultations to national governments on nonproliferation issues
Experience developing internal compliance programs (ICP) and resources for private industry and providing on-site export control training for company personnel
Experience as a speaker and presenter at regional and international export control conferences
Evidence of research and publications on trade controls-related issues
Prior experience with the USG Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) compliance program
