Job Description

• perform and carry out all tasks related to installing, assembling, servicing, and repairing Aerzen products • responsible for providing customers with prompt, professional and high-quality service • work performed at location and/or at customer’s location • overnight travel on short notice is often required • 100% travel, often four nights away weekly, on a continuous basis • perform startups, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and/or preventive maintenance service on all Aerzen Products at customer sites • represent Aerzen in professional and courteous manner following all Aerzen and customer safety requirements • installing, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital) • installing and terminating electrical, pneumatic and fluid connections • analyze/troubleshoot process application related issues • communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations and service options, listen to customer concerns, and provide status updates during service calls and at completion

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or associate degree (2 years schooling) in electronics technology, or associated field
  • 5+ years of field experience will also be considered in lieu of degree
  • Over 4 years of Field Service and Repair experience
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams (dimensions, assembly, electrical)
  • Proper use of micrometer, dial indicator, feeler gauges and coordinate measuring tools
  • Ability to regularly use a forklift, ladder, hand tools, power tools, welding, calibrated measurement devices, hydraulic equipment
  • Clean Driving Record
