Job Description
• Lead strategies that deepen engagement and drive retention for DoorDash’s New Verticals
• Own how we turn new customers into loyal, habitual users
• Shape both 0→1 initiatives and scaled programs
• Manage a team of two and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners
• Define the strategy, goals, and roadmap
• Build and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns
• Deeply understand consumer motivations and barriers
• Serve as the 'hub' within marketing
• Develop acquisition and retention strategies
• Track key metrics, cultural trends, and competitive insights
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of marketing experience in a corporate or startup environment
- Fluency across the marketing mix
- Proven success driving retention and customer engagement
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset
- Experience shaping affordability or value narratives
- Exceptional cross-functional influence
- Creative, collaborative problem-solving approach
- Bias for action and ownership
- 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
