Job Description

• Translate and copy-edit content for investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and UI materials • Collaborate as a freelance language expert across multiple accounts and programs • Use CAT tools (XTM, Phrase, Trados, Smartling, Jira) to deliver localized content • Apply cultural and linguistic expertise for Xhosa target language adaptations • Work with Welocalize teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to meet client requirements • Ensure high-quality language deliverables for localization and NLP training data tasks

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material, Marketing, Help and UI content
Professional level understanding of English (US/GB)
Native level expertise of Xhosa as Target Language with core understanding of cultural nuances.
Candidate should be well versed with various CAT tools like- XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling etc.
Working knowledge of MS office applications like MS Word, MS Excel.
Desirable: Translation degree or, if other degree, 3 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience
