• Support the professional development of direct reports, to include workload assignment, training opportunities, performance reviews and mentoring • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships and influence business decisions • Partner with Key Program Functions in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, as well as general contract administration • Conduct timely and effective negotiations and resolution of customer issues to maximize key financial metrics • Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters by applying astute critical thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking creative contracting techniques, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders • Provide strategic advice and guidance on numerous contractual rights/ obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes • Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge • Travel 10%-15%
