Job Description

• Works closely with the IHIE Developers, Support/Integration Teams, and partners to design, develop, document, test, improve, automate, debug, secure and modernize delivery pipelines. • Provides technical leadership by establishing best practices, standards, and process improvements that enhance team performance. • Advises on and applies best practices across the DevOps lifecycle by leveraging a broad understanding of platforms, tools, and features spanning infrastructure, build and deployment, monitoring, and operations to support efficient and reliable delivery of products and services. • Implements, configures, and manages build and deployment processes—including source control practices (branching, merging, tagging), Bitbucket, Azure Artifacts, Jenkins, Maven, Archiva, build automation, and continuous integration—while troubleshooting deployment and infrastructure issues and supporting rollback and disaster‑recovery procedures to ensure reliable delivery. • Implements and manages centralized secrets‑management solutions—such as Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or CyberArk—by enforcing best practices for handling credentials (API keys, tokens, certificates, and passwords), automating the full lifecycle of secrets (generation, rotation, and revocation), and configuring monitoring and audit controls to ensure compliance with security policies and prevent unauthorized access. • Utilizes Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools to monitor, diagnose, and optimize application performance by interpreting real‑time metrics such as latency, error rates, and resource utilization, ensuring software operates reliably and aligns with business outcomes. • Applies advanced software development practices by implementing agile methodologies, including structured code reviews and effective use of source control systems to ensure high‑quality, maintainable code. • Provides faster feedback to developers to improve the speed and output of testing methodologies. • Ensures software being released into production meets quality and security standards with the appropriate approvals throughout the change process. • Address and provide best practices for incident response with examples of handling outages, alerts, and producing RCA analysis in a collaborative environment.
