Job Description

• Develop and execute a strategy to grow IFG's independent agent channel nationally. • Lead and coach Regional Sales Executives responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing independent agents. • Drive net new agent growth, activation rates, and production per active agent. • Establish clear performance expectations and sales targets for the brokerage team. • Monitor sales results, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts to ensure goals are met. • Partner with Carrier Relations, Operations, Marketing, and Compliance to ensure agents are properly contracted, supported, and aligned with regulatory requirements. • Identify opportunities to improve agent engagement, retention, and overall channel productivity.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in brokerage, field distribution, or independent agent management.
  • Experience recruiting and growing a 1099 or independent agent channel
  • Experience leading regional or field-based sales teams
  • Experience with regulated insurance distribution environments
  • Results-driven with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Preferred Experience with regulated insurance distribution environments in the Medicare Advantage space
  • Advanced degree
