Job Description

• Support the VP, Real Estate & Ambulatory Facilities with transactions being handled in-house, especially those resulting from mergers, acquisitions and dispositions • Support the Director, Real Estate Strategic Planning with research and analysis for key projects • Field questions from the markets and transaction managers regarding lease language, operating expense calculation, landlord matters, and address other day-to-day issues as they arise • Understand and champion processes and policies as found in the BSMH Real Estate Manual • Interact as needed with external landlords, tenants, and service providers • Coordinate ambulatory facility management activities in partnership with outsourced service provider • Review, interpret, and provide guidance on real estate appraisals • Work independently to execute a wide range of real estate-related tasks associated with the corporate real estate activity of the Ministry

Job Requirements

  • Proven real estate professional with at least 5 years of progressive career responsibility and experience in commercial/healthcare real estate (required)
  • Knowledge of common commercial real estate practices including service outsourcing, terminology, market forces, trends, and techniques that affect non-core hospital real estate
  • Computer and software skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Must be very proficient in MS Excel
  • Proven ability to learn new software programs
  • Customer focus (internal & external)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
