Job Description
• Successfully managing proposals across all market segments and levels of complexity
• Supporting the most complex and key/must win and renew proposals
• Demonstrating engagement and mentorship of junior staff members
• Participating in and leading department-wide initiatives that have a positive impact on quality and process improvements across the team
• Working under aggressive timelines, including working on 6+ proposals, follow-ups, and extra projects simultaneously
• Providing daily guidance/support to newer staff members, including interim and final proposal reviews
• Ensuring the accuracy of information and effectively positioning CVS Caremark’s products and services by incorporating corporate strengths and key messaging
• Coordinating with internal strategic partners such as sales, account teams, underwriting, legal, and other internal partners to ensure best positioning of CVS Caremark in the marketplace.
Job Requirements
- 5+ yrs professional experience in PBM/health care industry, Sales/Consulting, Proposal/Project management
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Qvidian and salesforce.com products
- Proposal/Project management experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of industry terminology and/or of Medicare Part D is helpful
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead our most complex RFPs without blueprint templates
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while also demonstrating successful team work
- Experience in ensuring quality control standards are met
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and accuracy
- Proactively takes on assignments that provide benefit to broader department
- Demonstrated ability to foster an environment of influence and consistently act as a positive role model for other team members, taking responsibility for his/her decisions and actions
- Established a network of relationships with business leaders and subject matter experts through effectively communicating with all levels within the organization.
