• Interpret for deaf or hard-of-hearing litigants, witnesses, and jurors during court proceedings and other court-related activities. • Provide interpretation during court hearings, juror orientation, voir dire, jury trials, deliberations, and verdicts. • Self-help assistance, document filing, mediation, and other court business. • Work alongside a Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) when necessary. • Perform simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation as authorized by the Court. • Log in to virtual hearings using MS Teams on a personal computer when working remotely. • Submit Interpreter Services Billing forms and Daily Activity Logs twice per month. • Maintain certification and continuing education as required by the Judicial Council of California.
