The Compliance Product Strategy & Programs team at Coinbase is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives at Coinbase. This key role will be on the Technical Program Management team, which supports all cross functional strategic compliance initiatives. A successful candidate will need to be an independent utility player, proactively taking initiative to identify and own responsibilities that will expand the team’s portfolio of work. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): Lead large scale programs that are crypto-focused, technical, Compliance related, and cross functional in nature Team with internal and external stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, Customer experience, Enterprise Technology, International Operations) Set cross functional business objectives, align cross-functional teams, and execute from design and technical implementation Be accountable for roadmap delivery including adoption and success criteria as defined in collaboration with your stakeholders Plan, scope, resource, coordinate, communicate status, manage risks and track progress across multiple product workstreams Create and support cross functional program deliverables including program plans,  quarterly objectives and associated initiatives, BRDs, PRDs, TDDs, product launch approval, incident statusing etc. Support the Compliance incident management process and ensure issues are properly documented, tracked and resolved according to our compliance policies Monitor program status, identify issues / risks, succinctly communicate issues, and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution Work closely with product and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle to resolve blockers, address questions, balance between functionality and user experience What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $167,280 — $196,800 USD Please be advised that each candidate may submit a maximum of four applications within any 30-day period. Job Requirements

  • Must have 6+  years of experience working with consumer products as a technical program manager across domains including  product, engineering, business operations or strategy
  • Experience balancing product and business priorities with operational requirements
  • Experience with product development life cycle and or product operations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to quickly diagnose complex issues and address compliance exposures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience solving for tradeoffs between operational requirements and user experience
  • Ability to identify, resolve technical and functional risks/issues
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving program needs while effectively navigating Coinbase teams across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance and CX
  • Experience working in a global, large-scale, complex, and fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, engineering, economics or related field
  • Nice to haves:
  • Experience in Top Tier consulting firm or FinTech
  • MBA or advanced certifications in Program or project management
  • Experience with financial product compliance  KYC, BSA, OFAC, AML
  • Advanced understanding of product development and control architecture
  • Experience with  JIRA, Looker, SQL
