About this team: The Audience team is responsible for managing and delivering the first and third-party data that powers all of the platforms that Magnite operates. We’re a globally distributed team of software and data engineers who build and operate data pipelines and real-time scaled services to enable Magnite and Magnite’s customers to reach their goals. In this role you will: Lead the development and implementation of software projects from inception to deployment. Be a creative problem solver who can draw on an array of expertise and technology to design and implement reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions to challenging problems. Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver the most appropriate results. Lead the technical specification, development, integration, testing and release of software components. Identify and address technical challenges, optimize code for performance, and participate in ongoing code refactoring. Define long-term strategic engineering goals for the team. We’re looking for someone with: 7 to 10+ years of production coding experience, Go, and/or Rust. Expertise in service-oriented architectures, microservices, advanced database schemas, relational and nonrelational databases, highly scalable and available services. The ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. Hands-on experience in building RESTful WebServices. Great communication skills. Experience with microservices using Docker. Kubernetes and Spring Boot are a plus. Experience using SQL and one or more DB (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, etc). Experience using NoSQL (Aerospike, Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB). Experience with monitoring and metrics systems (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch). Experience with automated testing frameworks (TDD, Mocking, Unit/Functional/Integration). Experience with development and CI tools: git, github actions, Jenkins, Jira. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and all of its assorted tools & technologies. Experience with IaaC technologies (Puppet, Spacelift, Terraform). Experience with load balancing technologies (AWS ALB, HAProxy, NGINX). Experience working with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and a variety of different programming/scripting languages. Experience with Javascript, React Component Libraries like Ant Design, Material UI, or React Bootstrap is a plus.
