Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and five years of experience in systems engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Four+ years’ experience implementing and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (any flavor) Docker, and Helm within GCP, Azure and/or AWS
- Experience delivering, managing and upgrading managed applications in GCP, Azure and/or AWS environments with high throughput and availability requirements, including usage of CI/CD tools
- Experience and comfort with management and implementation of Linux server platforms
- Experience with developing and implementing IaC tools and code using tools such as Terraform, Pulimi or Crossplane
- Highly comfortable in creating, implementing and troubleshooting Python, go and Bash scripts within integration and automation use cases
- Experience with RESTful API, GraphQL and API microservices
- Experience with implementing and using Kafka (any version)
- Intermediate knowledge of security protocols and products for identity management and access such as OAuth, OKTA, SAML, Windows Auth and Active Directory
- Four+ years of experience using logs and metrics to identify the root cause of production incidents
- Experience managing technical deployments, tracking time, and running projects from kickoff to closure
- Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban and other development lifecycles
- Knowledge of IT environments, including: directory services, authentication, networking, data storage
- Understanding of log management use cases around security, observability, DevOps, IT ops, and/or business operations
- Strong problem-solving, written and oral communication skills in English.
