• Own weekly payroll processing and issue resolution across multiple states • Build and enforce payroll compliance controls, audits, and documentation • Lead WA prevailing wage processes, including L&I reporting and filings • Maintain union payroll compliance and update rules as CBAs change • Partner with field leaders to ensure timely timecard approvals and accuracy • Research payroll law changes and translate them into policy and process • Delegate compliance tracking across the payroll team and verify outputs • Drive payroll system improvements and support selection/migration efforts • Establish audit controls to validate rates and ensure compliance • Resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate, timely payroll
