Job Description

• Drive expansion of environmental due diligence services through targeted new sales, specifically with private equity firms, corporate buyers, and M&A advisory partners. • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to diversify service offerings and penetrate new industry sectors beyond the existing client base. • Leverage knowledge of the broader environmental, health & safety (EHS) services portfolio to identify and execute cross‑selling opportunities within the organization. • Serve as a senior client-facing leader, effectively representing the due diligence practice to prospective and existing clients. • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming environmental due diligence engagements. • Manage private equity and corporate M&A clients through the full deal lifecycle, including project initiation, communication of findings, budget oversight, invoice management, and ongoing relationship development. • Ensure timely, responsive, and high-quality interactions across all client touchpoints. • Lead and manage environmental due diligence projects—including Phase I ESAs, desktop reviews, limited compliance evaluations, and other transaction-related environmental deliverables. • Integrate environmental risk identification and mitigation strategies into M&A workflows, supporting clients in understanding deal risks and implications. • Oversee project teams to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency across due diligence engagements. • Conduct high-level technical reviews of due diligence reports, findings, and recommendations prior to client delivery, ensuring accuracy and technical excellence. • Mentor and develop team members by providing constructive feedback, training, and guidance on technical competencies and professional growth. • Promote a culture of client service excellence, responsiveness, and accountability within the due diligence team. • Travel as needed for site visits, conferences, and client development—typically one to two 2‑day trips per month, with additional travel during major due diligence efforts.
