Job Description

The AES Group INC. is seeking a high-impact Director of Business Development to expand our IT staffing presence across SMB and MSP segments. This strategic role is built for a proven hunter with established industry relationships and a consistent history of generating net-new revenue. Drive net-new revenue growth by leveraging existing industry relationships and consultative sales expertise Own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting to contract execution Position AES as a trusted IT staffing partner within SMB and MSP ecosystems Key Responsibilities Drive aggressive new logo acquisition across SMB and MSP accounts Activate existing professional networks to accelerate revenue generation Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on new business growth Build executive-level relationships with hiring managers, procurement leaders, and MSP stakeholders Identify and penetrate opportunities within MSP and VMS environments Lead consultative sales discussions, solution positioning, pricing strategy, proposals, and negotiations Partner with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and fulfillment Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and revenue reporting Monitor IT staffing market trends to strengthen competitive positioning

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT staffing or IT solutions/services sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new business within the SMB and MSP segments
  • Strong, established industry relationships capable of generating immediate revenue
  • Deep understanding of MSP models, VMS platforms, staffing operations, and recruitment lifecycle
  • Consistent record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and executive engagement skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field (preferred)
  • Preferred Profile
  • Pure hunter mentality with relationship-driven sales execution
  • Experience selling contract staffing, direct hire, SOW engagements, and managed services
  • Ability to independently build a pipeline and close high-value agreements
  • Strategic thinker with disciplined forecasting practices
