Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
- Experience with both enterprise and common 3rd party tools used in online courses, and the ability to adopt new technologies.
- Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to develop and revise online and hybrid courses.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to faculty on instructional design and technology integration.
- Conduct regular assessments of instructional materials and courses to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
- Identify and implement innovative instructional design practices to enhance learning experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using LMS platforms and other educational technologies.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Experience in project management (managing time, establishing priorities, meeting milestones and deliverables).
- Special Job Dimensions
- Primarily office-based with extended screen time; occasional campus mobility for meetings.
- May require travel to conferences, workshops, and partner institutions.
- Flexible hours to accommodate faculty schedules; high-pressure situations during project deadlines; rapid adaptation to new technologies.
