Job Description

• Own day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and growth initiatives • Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to provide clear, actionable financial insights • Oversee monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement • Manage relationships with external partners, including accounting firms, auditors, payroll providers, and tax advisors • Develop and improve financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales • Support fundraising, board reporting, and investor-related financial analysis as needed • Take on ad hoc projects that help move the business forward, including special analyses, tooling improvements, and operational initiatives

Job Requirements

6–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with meaningful exposure to high-growth or startup environments
Prior experience owning or heavily contributing to financial operations in a fast-paced, resource-constrained setting
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to “do the work” — from building models to cleaning up data to improving processes
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
Experience with modern financial systems and tools; able to quickly learn and adapt to new technology
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Comfortable in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
Creative problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset
Can quickly learn new technology systems and communication tools
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
