Job Description

• Apply principles of accounting to perform general accounting duties • Work closely with the Business Controller and assist with financial statements • Perform Fixed Assets Audits and ad hoc reporting • Comply with all Finance North America requirements and deadlines • Assist with month-end financial reporting and analysis • Prepare fixed asset capitalization and maintenance reports • Perform annual review of fixed assets • Support internal departments with accurate financial results • Analyze actual results against expected performance • Assist in budgeting/forecasting and audits • Train junior members of the team • Comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct • Others as assigned

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of experience, including experience with month/year end close
2-3 years’ experience with financial systems (Oracle Projects)
English – Advanced level proficiency
Advanced level proficiency in mathematics
Strong business acumen/business awareness
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and inter-personal skills
Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations to different levels of management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment
Ability to consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Expert user level skills in MS Office Excel
Intermediate user proficiency in MS Office Word and PowerPoint
Experience with financial systems (Oracle Projects)
