The Medical Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling appointments for medical procedures, ensuring that all patient needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Schedule appointments for medical procedures based on physician availability, patient preferences, and medical facility resources Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide necessary information, and address any questions or concerns Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for physicians, medical staff, and facilities Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that all necessary equipment and resources are available for scheduled procedures Monitor and manage cancellations and rescheduling requests, ensuring that all changes are communicated and documented appropriately Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations for procedures as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping as needed
