Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Insurance Program Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing our various Insurance Program technology platform and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will lead program development requirements, overseeing the configuration of rate/quote/bind/issuance systems, and fortifying support processes for individual policy transactions and supporting M&A integration. Additionally, this role will encompass responsibilities typical of a Program Manager within an insurance setting, meaning ownership of program or integration projects from start to finish, working across multiple business units at ISC. There will be a significant amount of project management work associated with this role in addition to driving insurance business requirements for systems and operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who excels in both insurance operations and information systems management and is eager to drive impactful change within the insurance industry. Position Responsibilities Take lead ownership of new insurance program concepts from start to finish from a requirement, project plan, and cross-functional integration perspective Provide project management for cross business-unit collaboration Collaborate with IT teams and business unit stakeholders to create detailed system and workflow requirements and propose efficient solutions in line with insurance industry standards. Design, document, implement, and maintain configurable information systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards where applicable. Manage and troubleshoot system-related issues, offering technical support to users, and overseeing system upgrades or modifications to optimize performance. Conduct regular audits and assessments of information systems to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures. Collaborate with Program Managers and underwriters evolve and maintain the rate, quote, bind, and policy issuance systems for both existing and prospective programs. Facilitate a seamless transition of programs from acquired companies by collaborating with technical and underwriting teams to integrate them into the ISC platform. Provide Project management, tracking, and business updates around key projects Lead and manage on and offshore support resources, augmenting procedures for pre & post-bind activities, encompassing: Endorsements processing Policy/invoice validation Ensuring audit file completeness Collaboration with the accounting department on Premium Finance/Accounts Payable processes Bordereau delivery and automation Overseeing inspections Managing surplus lines filing (collaborating with vendors) Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in commercial lines underwriting or operations 5+ years of project management experience Proficiency in configuring and updating insurance policy administration systems, preferably with MGA Systems experience but not required (minimum 5 years) Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel Experience using tools such as Visio or Figma for workflow mapping Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently drive projects and tasks Demonstrated experience in managing teams effectively Expertise in information systems design, implementation, security, and troubleshooting within the insurance industry Ability to handle multiplate tasks and provide project management capabilities Preferred Qualifications PMP certification This role also offers bonus pay. The starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
