Role Description

The Compensation Manager plays a key role within the North America Compensation team and the broader Global Total Rewards function. This position will take a lead role in the global annual compensation review process and the awarding of merit and incentives to employees. The Compensation Manager will be a strategic partner to select businesses, partnering with HR to support alignment with organizational compensation strategies and guidelines through job evaluations, pay reviews, incentive plan alignment, retention programs, and compliance with company policy and relevant laws. This position will manage or support compensation activities, including special recognition and bonus programs, compensation analysis and insights, and process improvements.

  • Serve as a strategic compensation partner to HR and the business, acting as a subject matter expert on compensation practices, programs and policies
  • Support the annual compensation cycle, including planning, execution, systems administration, reporting, employee statements, audits, stakeholder communication, and training; lead the merit and bonus activities, managing all stages from assessment to final payout and audit.
  • Oversee the administration of special recognition and bonus programs, including regular accruals, reconciliations, and reporting for Corporate Business Planning & Analytics.
  • Own management and administration of the CompAnalyst platform.
  • Perform complex compensation analyses, sharing insights and recommended actions
  • Complete job evaluations and market reviews, and make recommendations on actions
  • Help drive process improvements, including automation initiatives and leveraging AI tools in compensation programs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible compensation experience in a global organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing and/or supporting annual merit and bonus cycles in a complex, global organization.
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing compensation data, validating results, and extracting insights.
  • Experience building presentation and presenting to management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving challenges

Requirements

  • Knowledge of compensation benchmarking tools and HRIS systems; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar platform.
  • Hands-on experience in bonus accruals and incentive program management, including compliance and reconciliation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of Power Suite and AI tools.
