Job Requirements
- A seasoned sales professional with 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and a strong track record of exceeding quota and success selling to CISOs, cybersecurity executives, and heads of security operations.
- Proven experience working in sales at early-stage startups (Seed to Series A), with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success managing both mid-market and enterprise sales cycles, with the ability to navigate complex buying processes and engage multiple stakeholders.
- A hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and a track record of generating leads in greenfield territories.
- Able to articulate technical concepts and map them to business outcomes, clearly demonstrating the value of Mitiga’s cloud and SaaS security solutions with a consultative sales approach.
- Experienced in selling SaaS and cloud security solutions, with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, market trends, and buyer personas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior executives.
- Highly organized and data-driven, with strong pipeline management skills and a clear understanding of sales processes.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up environment with an adaptable mindset.
- The candidate must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region- Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, or Arlington.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) solutions and familiarity with security operations tools and services.
- A network of established relationships within the US cybersecurity space, particularly with security executives and decision-makers.
