Job Description

The Content Analyst is responsible for evaluating content performance, analyzing audience engagement data, and providing actionable insights to improve content strategy and business outcomes. This role works closely with marketing, product, and creative teams to measure effectiveness across digital channels and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The Content Analyst operates in a fully remote environment and contributes to data-driven decision-making.

This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze content performance across web, email, social media, and other digital platforms

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track engagement, conversion, and retention metrics

  • Identify content gaps, optimization opportunities, and audience trends

  • Conduct competitive content analysis and benchmarking

  • Support A/B testing initiatives and performance experiments

  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and marketers to improve content effectiveness

  • Monitor SEO performance and recommend improvements

  • Generate regular performance reports for leadership review

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Maintain documentation of methodologies, metrics, and reporting processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or related field

  • 2–5 years of experience in content analysis, digital marketing analytics, or related roles

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., web and digital performance tools)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data tools

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content performance metrics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization tools

  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)

  • Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing)

  • Background in digital marketing or content strategy

  • Familiarity with reporting automation tools

Compensation

  • Annual Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 USD, based on experience and technical expertise
