Role Description

This role plays an integral part in supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, and financial reporting within a fast‑paced, collaborative, and technology‑enabled environment.

• Take ownership of core accounting activities for a diverse client base
• Leverage Sage Intacct to execute and streamline day to day transactional accounting
• Lead month end and year end close processes
• Perform bank and account reconciliations (prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets)
• Maintain general ledger accuracy
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation
• Oversee AP/AR workflows to ensure correct coding
• Record accruals and resolve complex accounting issues
• Ensure financial data is complete and accurate within a cloud based accounting system
• Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency through effective use of accounting technology and internal controls
• Manage priorities while maintaining consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of transactional accounting and month‑end and year‑end close
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a strong plus
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, self‑motivated, and highly communicative
• Ability to manage priorities across multiple clients in a fully remote, team‑based environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with tools such as Expensify, Salesforce, or automated AP solutions are beneficial
