Role Description

Health Services of North Texas, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Virtual Assistant to provide day‑to‑day administrative support to our leadership and program teams. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks to help keep operations running smoothly.

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate virtual calls for managers and team members.
  • Assist with email management, including organizing inboxes, flagging priority messages, and drafting simple responses as directed.
  • Prepare and format basic documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using standard office software.
  • Support data entry tasks, maintain tracking sheets, and help keep records accurate and up‑to‑date.
  • Help coordinate virtual meetings and webinars, including sending invitations, sharing links, and distributing materials.
  • Perform online research and compile information or summaries as requested by supervisors.
  • Organize electronic files and folders to ensure information is easy to locate and share.
  • Provide general administrative support such as creating checklists, updating templates, and following up on outstanding items with staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a virtual assistant, administrative assistant, or similar support role is preferred but not required for fast learners.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a remote environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and polite tone.
  • Comfortable using email, calendars, and office software (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Workspace equivalents).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents, schedules, and data.
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Discretion and reliability when handling sensitive or confidential information.
