Role Description

The Hospice Clinical Ops Consultant acts as a resource with regard to federal, state, and local regulations for hospice and the provision of services. This role will utilize clinical knowledge and experience to train and educate branch staff. This role will provide direct support that includes:

  • Audits
  • Site visits
  • Education and training of personnel
  • Integration of new employees and branches to Enhabit
  • Development of operational workflow

Must be able to travel overnight by air or personal vehicle up to 75% of the time. This role is a Home Office/Corporate position that will allow you to work remotely. You do not need to be located in Dallas, TX. However, you will need to be located within driving distance of a branch.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing (RN)
  • Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice
  • Must have five years of experience in a Medicare certified hospice agency
  • Must have intermediate demonstrated technology skills - Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
  • Must be able to travel overnight by air or personal vehicle up to 75% of the time
  • Previous experience and proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB), both R2 and PointCare, is highly preferred
  • Previous experience with developing and implementing employee education is preferred
