Role Description

The Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability and expanding market share by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. This leadership role will oversee client relationships, identify market opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure achievement of sales goals and profitability targets. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and analytical leader with deep experience in the personal care industry.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate objectives
  • Secure new revenue and profit through current and new customers
  • Coordinate with account management and operations to ensure accurate pricing and execution
  • Support operations for commercial escalations
  • Manage and refine sales forecasts and set performance metrics for the team
  • Represent company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and product development to align offerings with client needs
  • Lead sales presentations and proposals for prospective and existing clients
  • Ensure new projects meet cost, margin, quality, and delivery objectives
  • Mentor and coach sales team members
  • Participate in internal planning and strategy sessions
  • Monitor industry developments and emerging product trends
  • Provide input on corporate budgeting and financial planning as it relates to revenue targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Preferred)

Requirements

  • 4-6 years progressive sales leadership experience (Required)
  • 4-6 years proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams (Preferred)
