The role involves working on the most critical technical problems across backend, frontend, infrastructure, APIs, and data, taking significant ownership of the core product. Responsibilities include scaling APIs for developer integration and applying skills wherever needed across teams.

The engineer will be responsible for the reliability and performance of the messaging infrastructure across all supported protocols, requiring deep expertise in areas like iMessage, RCS, and SMS. A key duty involves proactively monitoring systems, engineering solutions around rate limits and protocol quirks, and ensuring message delivery through robust fallback logic.

The engineer will be responsible for building product features across Company messaging platform, including the APIs, interfaces, and underlying infrastructure. This role involves working across the full stack and owning features end-to-end while maintaining close contact with customers and leadership.
