Job Description

Role Summary Quill is looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead outreach and relationship-building with schools, counselors, and educational organizations. This role is perfect for someone with experience in ed tech or education sales who thrives in a high-autonomy, performance-based environment. Responsibilities Source and qualify leads (school counselors, administrators, tutoring orgs, etc.) Manage outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone — moving prospects from cold to warm conversations. Deliver persuasive demos and presentations of Quill’s platform. Handle objections and guide schools through the decision-making process. Negotiate and close new school partnerships. Maintain ongoing relationships with signed schools to ensure satisfaction and renewals. Collaborate with founder on refining pitch materials, sales strategy, and funnel. Compensation This is a commission-based role with significant upside. Quill offers 30% recurring commission on every school you bring on board, with payouts continuing for up to 3 years as schools renew. Typical school contract: ~$2,000/year Commission per school: ~$600/year Earnings scale directly with performance: 50 schools signed ≈ $30K annually 80 schools signed ≈ $50K annually 115 schools signed ≈ $70K annually Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Track record in sales, ideally in ed tech, SaaS, or K-12 education.
  • Comfortable handling long sales cycles and institutional decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely.
