Job Description
Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving regional business goals by expanding sales through new and existing customers within an assigned territory.
- Leverage solutions-selling skills and channel partner management experience
- Implement innovative and progressive strategies to yield new business opportunities
- Expand customer understanding of Solve’s portfolio of products
- Develop relationships with independent manufacturer sales representatives
- Conduct onsite meetings and presentations with current clients
- Identify opportunities to promote and upsell new products
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve customer issues
- Manage pricing solutions for the region and make recommendations for price adjustments
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering Teams
- Attend key customer meetings, prospecting new leads, trade shows, and industry events (60+% travel required)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel up to 60% and an active/valid driver’s license
- 5+ years of industrial sales experience
- 3+ years of industrial sales management experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills; specifically Excel
Requirements
- Bearings and power transmission industry experience (preferred)
- Experience working with a CRM (preferred)
