Role Description

We are looking for a Manager who will play an integral role in building our business strategy and ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions for our Payments Platform and Product division, our fast-growing fintech org within the business. This role will partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to support strategic business and financial decisions.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new processes and investment decision making frameworks
• Drive strategic decision making in a fast paced constantly changing environment
• Oversee the financial viability and performance of our adoption and retention initiatives
• Own the quarterly planning process in collaboration with our S&O counterparts
• Work to optimize our approach to balancing growth vs. profitability
• Identify and quantify key risks & opportunities in our business
• Support special projects to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies
• Track and analyze key business/financial KPIs, uncover trends and assess current/future business risks and opportunities
• Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is constantly evolving

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strategic finance, operational finance, FP&A, or investment banking experience at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company
• Team management experience; building and developing a team is something you are passionate about
• Experience owning budgets for major functional areas within an organization, and working with operators on day-to-day execution to hit targets
• Thrive in high-performance cultures, handle stress well, and aren’t afraid of long hours in pursuit of meaningful work
• Embrace ambiguity; rapid change and learning is exciting to you
• Lead by example and indirect influence; excel at navigating a rapidly growing organization
• Know how to organize and motivate a broad, diverse and geographically dispersed working team around a shared goal
• Relentless; have the determination and grit to keep working on a problem as new challenges emerge
• Proven ability to earn the trust of senior leaders, and influence their thinking on key strategic decisions
• Experience building and reviewing highly complex models, and developing a team that sets the gold standard for financial modeling
• Comfortable operating at both high-level and detailed levels
• Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties
