This role is a strategic leadership position focused on driving end-user growth, engagement, and retention through innovative B2C marketing initiatives. As Director of B2C Marketing, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy while leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Develop and implement a holistic B2C marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, focusing on acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a results-driven culture.
- Oversee all end-user acquisition channels, including email, SMS, in-app notifications, paid media, affiliates, partnerships, and co-marketing campaigns.
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring consistency across all marketing communications and maintaining the company’s voice, values, and visual identity.
- Develop and manage customer lifecycle initiatives, loyalty programs, and re-engagement campaigns to maximize end-user lifetime value.
- Own and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to optimize ROI and meet key performance indicators.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics, generate actionable insights, and adjust campaigns to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, Professional Services, and Support teams to ensure seamless end-user experiences.
- Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience leading B2C marketing initiatives and building high-performing marketing teams.
- Proven track record designing, executing, and optimizing end-user acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing, including email, SMS, in-app notifications, paid media, affiliate programs, and partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with experience making data-driven decisions and optimizing campaigns based on performance insights.
- Hands-on leadership style with ability to foster collaboration, mentor team members, and drive accountability.
- Budget management experience, including resource allocation and ROI optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the payments or fintech industry is a plus, as is experience with B2B2C business models or marketing automation platforms such as Braze.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate market trends and adapt marketing initiatives to changing conditions.
