Role Description
This role supports the development of an advanced AI-powered deep research system designed to generate institutional-grade equity research reports.
- Review AI-generated equity research reports for factual accuracy, analytical rigor, and logical coherence
- Evaluate investment theses, price targets, and buy/hold/sell recommendations
- Identify unsupported assumptions or gaps in financial reasoning
- Verify financial metrics and modelling logic across revenue growth and margin structures
- Assess valuation methodologies including DCF models and comparable company analysis
- Evaluate assumptions related to TAM estimates, valuation multiples, and financial forecasts
- Assess whether conclusions reflect current market conditions and publicly available information
- Evaluate multi-company comparisons and sector-level analyses for methodological soundness
- Identify stale data, misinterpreted metrics, or flawed valuation logic that could impact investment decisions
- Provide structured written feedback across research quality dimensions such as source reliability and analytical consistency
- Help refine the systems ability to generate accurate and practical investment research outputs
Qualifications
- Professional experience in public equities research, portfolio management, or investment banking
- Experience working in hedge funds, asset management firms, or sell-side equity research teams
- Strong command of fundamental financial analysis and valuation methodologies
- Deep understanding of financial statements and earnings-driven forecasting
- Ability to critically assess investment theses and provide structured analytical feedback
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to analytical detail
Requirements
- CFA designation or active progress toward the CFA program
- Experience building or evaluating quantitative research tools or systematic investment strategies
- Familiarity with AI or large language models used in financial research workflows
- Coverage experience across multiple sectors beyond technology
