As a Senior Partnerships Manager, Content Enablement, you will work closely with publishers, libraries, and media organizations to secure access to valuable research materials that support contributors and knowledge communities worldwide. You will play a central role in building and maintaining partnerships, ensuring smooth collaboration, and improving access to trusted information sources.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with publishers, aggregators, libraries, and media organizations to expand access to high-quality research and reference materials.
- Identify new partnership opportunities that address community needs, fill content gaps, and increase the impact of knowledge access programs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with partners, manage agreements, and ensure the continuity and reliability of content access.
- Support partners in enabling access to their resources and troubleshoot technical or operational issues that may arise.
- Develop a deep understanding of citation practices, knowledge sourcing standards, and content usage guidelines to effectively communicate the value of partnerships.
- Collaborate with product teams to relay partner needs and improve overall partner experience and program efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop engagement opportunities such as events, research collaborations, or educational initiatives with partners.
- Analyze program performance and impact using available data, translating insights into improvements and strategic recommendations.
- Partner with communications teams to showcase partnerships and highlight the impact of content enablement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in publishing, media, partnerships, or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing external partnerships or collaborative networks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly present ideas and insights.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data to measure impact and support decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams within a distributed environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate across organizations without direct authority.
- Proactive, adaptable mindset with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Willingness to collaborate with partners across multiple time zones and travel internationally up to three times per year.
- Passion for knowledge accessibility, open information initiatives, or collaborative knowledge platforms is highly valued.
- Additional language proficiency beyond English is considered an advantage.
