We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our clients and their families, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment while managing essential office tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, assisting them with their inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming visits to ensure effective time management.
  • Handle patient registrations and verify insurance information to facilitate smooth administrative processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist the clinical team in coordinating care and communicating with patients and families regarding services provided.
  • Process billing and payments, handling financial transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in medical administration or healthcare preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software, including EHR (Electronic Health Records) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients and families.
