We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our clients and their families, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment while managing essential office tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, assisting them with their inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm upcoming visits to ensure effective time management.
- Handle patient registrations and verify insurance information to facilitate smooth administrative processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist the clinical team in coordinating care and communicating with patients and families regarding services provided.
- Process billing and payments, handling financial transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in medical administration or healthcare preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in computer systems and software, including EHR (Electronic Health Records) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients and families.
