Job Description
Role Description
Function Software’s Elevate Initiative Team is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Growth Specialist to help translate strong product thinking into compelling content, campaigns, and growth experiments. This is a hands-on role for someone with proven execution skills who’s ready to take ownership of initiatives, contribute to strategic discussions, and evolve into a high-impact growth leader.
You’ll collaborate closely with the cross functional teams to turn positioning and insights into real, engaging content across platforms. From website messaging and SEO content to feature launches, social media campaigns, and performance experiments, you’ll be responsible for sharing our value with the market. The Strategic Initiatives Growth Specialist helps identify opportunities for growth, builds relationships with stakeholders and partners, and supports communications and outreach efforts that promote initiative adoption.
This role offers the autonomy and creative range of a startup environment with the support and career pathways of a larger organization. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values product fluency, fast iteration, thoughtful structure, and collaborative idea-building.
Qualifications
- Have a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Bring 2+ years of experience in social, content, strategic initiatives or growth
- Have managed multiple social channels for a brand and understand what performs
- Are comfortable running paid campaigns and reading performance data
- Have experience with B2B buying journeys
- Can manage budgets responsibly and think in terms of ROI
- Are product focused, you want to understand why things work, not just what to post
- Are a sharp writer who cares about impact as much as craft
- Can form and defend marketing hypotheses with logic and evidence
- Are guided by data, but still willing to take smart risks
- Thrive in small, ambitious teams where your work is visible and meaningful
- We’re especially excited about someone early in their career with strong fundamentals and the drive to build something and make a name for themselves while doing it.
Requirements
- Turn product positioning into standout campaigns across social, landing pages, email, and SEO
- Own execution of growth and content initiatives end-to-end across channels
- Shape and evolve our content roadmap using product priorities and performance insights
- Refresh and optimize existing content to improve clarity, reach, and conversion
- Experiment with messaging, formats, CTAs, and distribution to continuously improve results
- Plan, create, and publish content across key social platforms
- Run paid social campaigns aligned to pipeline and revenue goals
- Manage budgets for social advertising and multimedia production
- Track performance, share insights, and iterate quickly
- Stay ahead of platform trends and tools, applying them with intention
- Support feature launches, activation, and expansion campaigns
- Partner with marketing and product leaders to turn ideas into thoughtful, high-quality execution
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational priorities
- Assist the Initiative Leader in identifying opportunities to expand initiative reach and engagement
- Contribute to planning and executing activities that advance initiative objectives
