Role Description
The Contrast Media Clinical Sales Specialist provides industry leading education based support for the development of gadolinium based Magnetic Resonance exams and iodinated based contrast exams. The primary responsibility of this specialist is to act as clinical “voice of the customer”.
- Deliver in-service education presentations to customers in large and small group settings.
- Provide product demonstrations to customers.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
- Stay on-label in all discussions, education, and training, both internal and external customers.
- Apply knowledge of clinical MR and CT to guide definition and development of new imaging and post-processing techniques.
- Drive revenue by selling contrast media diagnostic pharmaceuticals to healthcare professionals (HCPs) while providing technical, in-procedure support.
- Assist with trials, implementation, training, and MR and CT Contrast Media.
- Develop (clinical) competitive intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and selling advantages.
- Represent and assist at local, regional, or National trade shows and meetings, as required.
- Demonstrate effective sales and presentation skills in diverse settings from one-on-one to formal large group situations, in-person and virtually.
Qualifications
- Preferred Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or global equivalent.
- Experienced in MR, CT or X-Ray including all clinical applications and performing procedures.
- At least 5 years of experience in the medical industry.
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
- Customer contact experience in various situations.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelors or 5 years equivalent experience.
- Contrast Media application experience.
- MRI, X-ray, CT, or Nuclear Medicine experience.
