Role Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a high-scale cloud management platform used by global enterprises. You will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform capabilities, including workload provisioning, automation, and orchestration across hybrid, edge, and on-premise environments. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, UX, sales, and customer teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and enterprise-grade solutions. You will act as a voice of the customer, translating complex technical requirements into strategic product initiatives that drive adoption and value. This is a high-impact, remote-first role for someone who thrives in a fast-evolving technology landscape and enjoys bridging strategy, execution, and customer experience.

  • Define and evolve the vision and roadmap for core platform capabilities, including automation, orchestration, and infrastructure management.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available platform services.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers and field teams to capture real-world use cases, pain points, and adoption barriers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive features from concept to launch, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, UX, sales, and support teams.
  • Serve as a platform evangelist, communicating product value, roadmap, and capabilities to internal teams, partners, and customers.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to inform product positioning, strategy, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply a security-first mindset and advocate for enterprise-grade quality, reliability, and performance across the platform.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading enterprise or cloud platform product management, particularly in infrastructure, automation, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware/ESXi, KVM), containers and Kubernetes, hybrid/on-prem architectures, and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer value and actionable product strategy.
  • Experience operating at both strategic and execution levels, balancing long-term vision with delivery excellence.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging engineers, executives, field teams, and customers.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management, design thinking, DevOps practices, and go-to-market enablement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in complex, enterprise-scale environments.

Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary range: $152,000 – $349,000 USD (base), with potential variable incentives.
  • Remote-first work flexibility with support for home office setup.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement plans with employer contributions and additional financial benefits.
  • Professional development programs to support skill growth, career advancement, and technical expertise.
  • Inclusive work culture that values diversity, collaboration, and bold innovation.
  • Access to wellness programs, flexible scheduling, and work-life balance initiatives.
