Job Description

• Own the full denial and rejection management workflow — analyze, resolve, and resubmit. • Identify patterns in claim failures and implement corrections to prevent recurrence. • Communicate directly with insurance companies to dispute denials and negotiate resolutions. • Monitor aging accounts and follow up aggressively on unpaid or underpaid claims. • Track and report on key RCM metrics (denial rate, days in AR, collection rate). • Collaborate with billers to catch upstream issues before they become denials. • Support provider credentialing processes as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in claims resolution and denial management for therapy/psychiatric practices
  • Strong analytical skills — able to identify trends and systemic billing issues
  • Deep knowledge of payer-specific rules and "incident to" billing
  • Experience with national clearinghouses
  • Familiarity with TherapyNotes or similar EHR platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with credentialing is a strong plus
  • Reliable high-speed internet and phone service.
